New Player Boost
New players get a big catch-up boost during their first 200 hours of playtime, so they are not stuck far behind players who have been farming for months. The playtime used is the same one shown in your menu.
Boosts (first 200 hours)
| Boost | Value |
|---|---|
| Training stats | ×500 |
| Training speed | ×5 (one fifth of the time between ticks) |
| Souls | ×25 |
| Tokens | ×5 |
| Mystery Box luck | ×25 |
| Base TPM from quests and NPC kills | ×2 |
How It Works
- The boost does not multiply with server events — you get whichever is BIGGER. If a server event is better than your boost, you simply get the event like everyone else.
- The ×2 Base TPM from quests and NPC kills is the exception: it multiplies the reward directly. It applies to daily, weekly, tick and main quests, the Dark Mage quest and NPC kill rewards. It does not apply to the Necromancer or to rare NPC drops.
- When you pass 200 hours of playtime the boost ends and you use the normal server multipliers.
- If your squad is in the squad leaderboard top 10, your boosted training only counts as ×2 speed for Squad Ticks (you still get the full ×5 for your own stats).
Starter Shield
- During your first 6 hours of playtime you are protected by a starter shield (a visible force field).
- Players with the starter shield cannot capture flags (Fort, TPM, Soul and Tick Speed flags).
